“Today is a special day…It marks our family’s 10 year anniversary with Dr. Val and her amazing staff. The office’s beautiful renovation came at the perfect time. After Chloe had a chance to take in the changes she said, ‘It’s like the office is growing up with me!’ Thanks Dr. Val for keeping my kids smiling pretty for 10 years!”
This thoughtful note–posted by one of our beloved parents last month– says it all. After ten years of watching our young patients grow and helping them achieve healthy teeth and beautiful smiles, we truly feel like family.
2016 has already been a milestone year for our practice. As we’ve grown in recent years, we realized that we needed to update our facilities to better serve our patients, and took a short break for renovations at the beginning of this year. We are so grateful to our family of patients for their patience during the closure and to our amazing team for keeping up with patients’ needs off site. Since we reopened in February, we’ve been getting great feedback from patients old and new, and we’ve continued to provide the high levels of care our patients are used to without missing a beat.
Our Newly Renovated Office
Building and maintaining a strong sense of connection with our patients is one of the foundations of our practice. It is also the main reason we decided to take a short break from our busy workflow to spend some time creating a warm, inviting space for our patients. From the smallest touches, like hand-knit tooth pillows and charming artwork, our goal was not to create a pediatric dental office with the feel of a playground but instead to design a comfortable zone where children know they’re safe and secure. Our focus is, as always, on our patients’ emotional and physical wellbeing. We believe our new look and feel helps set our young patients and their families at ease from the very first visit.
New Space, Same Core Philosophy
While we’re thrilled about our new look, the heart of our practice remains our three amazing doctors and caring team. Our core philosophy is the same: providing great care to patients, serving our local community and promoting lifelong dental health.
This includes top quality pediatric dentistry (including child-friendly sedation dentistry for children who need extra support to relieve anxiety) and compassionate and caring special needs dentistry. Our doctors are trained to provide the best care to children with developmental disabilities and other healthcare issues, keeping in mind the unique nature of the children we see.
Unlike most pediatric dental practices, we offer orthodontics in-house. Our orthodontic practice features the same level of thoughtfulness and care. From the first visit, we work with families to explore various orthodontic treatment options including traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, and clear aligner (Invisalign) treatment. We develop a customized treatment plan for each patient and work with families to develop a financial plan that meets their needs.
Welcome To Our New Website
To celebrate our anniversary and renovated office space, we’ve also launched a new website for our practice. Our new NOVA Smiles Together site offers one-stop shopping for patient rewards, online appointment scheduling, forms and more.
We understand that orthodontic treatment requires a lot of responsibility on the part of the patient. Our Rewards Hub program recognizes patients for their commitment to making their orthodontic treatments work–patients earn points at each appointment and then redeem them for gift cards. We also offer cool online contests for all patients.
A Mom’s Touch And A Sense Of Connection
At NOVA Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, it’s all about the connection we feel with our patients. Our practice works to minimize the fear and anxiety that some children experience and make dental health care as pleasant as possible for our young patients and their families. Our female doctors offer top quality dental care and orthodontics—with a caring mom’s touch. Our new website and office space are designed to enhance that feeling of connection and make patients feel at home—online and on site.
